keep your clothes on... I wanna see it all!

When we talk about trends, it is not always about tangible things. It does not necessarily refer to the newest accessory or the latest trouser cut. Trends affect all aspects of our lives, and it is usually sociological trends that affect street, everyday trends.
Last season we saw how catwalks and street style was flooded with see through, lace, transparent clothes. The maxim of "suggesting is sexier than showing" was at its peak. However, there are a few signs that this tendency will change in the close future.
In a society where privacy is changing completely, where we share our most intimate secrets with our community through social networking and b/vlogging, is coverage necessary anymore?

Bimba y Lola PVC bag

What's in a woman's bag? A question that is very often impossible to answer, now with a quick look you can just see and tell. Personally I find this a little bit too much exposure, some things should be kept a secret. However, the initiative seems to have gained strength, look at Marc Jacobs Spring Summer 2012 shoe proposal...

Will we end up embodying the tale "The Emperor's New Suit"? Will PVC dresses be on vogue the up coming seasons? Evelyn Couch (Kathy Bates) wrapped herself in a plastic wrap dress to "spice up" her marriage in the 1991 film "Fried Green Tomatoes". What occasion can you see yourself embodying this trend for? Follow your gut!
