And we made it to the end of the week adopting the beautiful French philosophy of recycling gorgeous outfits and easing our mornings. Today I am emulating Wednesday's outfit, that was all about giving your androgynous self a go. On Wednesday the post kicked off with super stylish Diane Keaton on "Annie Hall" and today it is miss Katharine Hepburn herself, an undeniable icon of androgyny, doing the honours.

And the answer is yes! I am recycling my outfit from Tuesday and pulling it off today with absolutely no shame whatsoever.

#getMoody 9: I'm all ears

While I was writing my previous post yesterday, which was all about looking long (long garments, accessories, straight hair...), I proposed a pair of exuberant, extra long earrings for those who have short hair. I don't want to seem like a monkey see, monkey do person, but I did feel a little envious of not having a boy-short haircut so I could perform such a brilliant look.

Generally, whenever i got those days when my hair would go on strike, I used to tie it up in a pony tail or bun and perform my day under the assumption that my hair was not looking good.

However, not long ago I discovered that a bad hair day is a perfect braid day. Especially when it is a braid-bun. Since you start working on your hair from the very roots, it is much easier to conceal bad shape and/or dullness. Moreover, hair braids better when it is not completely clean and a little bit of frizz helps holding it just right. So braid it is!

This young lady has been sitting on my desktop for quite a while. I do not quite know what she inspires me. Of course, it is to be mentioned that eye-catching, chewing-gum coloured hair, which is what caught my attention in the first place.

After the hassle of moving houses and a few days with no Internet, here I am again to air out some more curiosities that have caught my eye. 

The topic I am currently working on for my trend book is very much related to how society is going back to basics, social mentality is becoming much more open and superficial is being left behind. All this, of course, reflects on how people look, what they wear and how they behave regarding fashion.

Translating this into a more practical approach: the tendency I keep noticing is hair. Social behaviour towards hair is changing a lot, back to the very basics (don't want to say back to monkeys, but...). Much more relaxed, undone, messy.
